I spent a few weeks in the USA.

I was traveling by local bus. 1 lady did not have exact change and she asked around, and the bus was full but people ignored her. Then I offered her an exchange of $20. She was Black.

Then one time, I was in the cinema hall washroom and 10 yr old girl came in and asked me to give her a few dollars. She was black.

Then one time, I was out of my hotel, clicking some pictures of downtown, 1 guy started pulling my Sony camera and said you have a pretty camera there lady. He was black.

Then one time, I was on the bus stop and 1 elderly gentleman asked me for a few dollars. He was black.

There are few more incidences and all of them involved black folks and money.

Next time, when I saw any black person coming towards me, my first thought was, I would be asked to give away my hard-earned money. Can anyone blame me for having such a perception?

I had a brief stint in your country. I am no expert on the situation. If I had stayed more, I would have more data, would have encountered different situations.

Pardon me, If I was scared.
